Anudhi a budding athlete

Anudhi Sathyanga Liyanagunawardena, a budding athlete from Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, is a talented student who has excelled in many sports events.

She became the under 15 champion this year in the 100 metre and 200 metre events and became the winner in the long jump event. Last year too, she won the under-13 championship.

In 2010, she claimed merit awards in the under 12 100metre and 80metre events of the John Tarbet All-Island Junior Athletic Meet.

Anudhi took part in the School’s inter-house sportsmeet representing the Pulimood House. She is trained by Richard Perera. Anudhi is getting all the support from her parents, her class teacher Chandrika Mahagamaarachchi and sports Teacher-In-Charge Muditha Liyanapathirana.
