Cambrians enter semi-finals

Prince of Wales College booked a berth in the semi-finals of the inter-school under 13 division three cricket tournament when they beat Loyala College, Negombo by four wickets and played at Railway grounds, Colombo.

Batting first Loyalla College were all out for 127 runs with A. K. Vimukthi making the top score of 47 runs and Induwara de Alwis was the most successful bowler for Cambrians with 3 for 20.

In reply Cambrians notched up the required score for the loss of six wickets with Thineth Prabuddha and Kaveen Chatushka scoring 32 and 28 runs respectively. Nishela Perera claimed 4 for 22 for Loyala.
