Sri Lankan, Omani visitors flock to witness trade fair

To mark its 25 years relationship between Oman and Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Oman organized a trade fair and food festival in Muscat, the capital of Oman. It was held at the Alfalaj Hotel recently.

The Trade Exhibition was held under the patronage of the Omani Government's Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Mohsin khamis Al Balushi.

A number of Sri Lankan indigenous items were exhibited at the event. Many Omani and Sri Lankan visitors were present to perchase their necessities. It was a significant event for foreigners to enjoy Sri Lankan food.

Sri Lanka's Ambassador in Oman, Asoka Girihagama and his wife Sudharma Girihagama, were also present along with their daughter Thiyara Girihagama at the Trade Exhibition and Food Festival.
