No Confidence Motion against Minister

The UNP yesterday, handed over a 'No Confidence Motion' to Parliament Secretary General against Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Minister Dilan Perera, charging that steps had not been taken to save Rizana Nafeek, who was executed in Saudi Arabia.

Thirteen UNP MPs signed the motion.
