Regulations under Public Contract Act and Private
Members’ Motion:
‘Registration increased according to regulations’
Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody presided, when
Parliament met at 1.00 pm yesterday. After the presentation of
papers and oral questions, the House took up the Regulations under
the Public Contracts Act and the Private Member Motion by Chief
Opposition Whip John Amaratunga for a Vote of Appreciation for the
Services of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.
