Industrialists' data computerised

The Southern Province Industrial Development has taken the initiative to collect and computerise data of industrialists in the region.

Southern Regional Industrial Development Board chairman Titus Gunapala said there are over 10,000 industrialists in the region. Data of more than half have already been collected and computerised.

The data will be utilised for development projects in the country.

This would pave the way to increase the sale of their products in local and international markets, he said.
