The exhibition will be held at the Ampara Hardy Technical Institute
and the surrounding areas covering 273 acres from March 23.
A large number of locals and foreigners are expected to participate
and view the exhibition. Arrangements are being made by the Deyata
Kirula Secretariat under the guidance of Telecommunication and
Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.
The exhibition paves the way for a series of development activities
in the four districts, where infrastructure facilities are being
upgraded, while generating employment opportunities.
Of the allocation, Rs 45,375 million has been earmarked solely for
the development of identified development projects, including road
development activities.
All government departments and Non Governmental Organisations are
getting ready for the exhibition.
Various departments in the Eastern Provincial Council are busy
installing stalls for the exhibition.
