ComBank seminar in Anuradhapura for SMEs
The Commercial Bank of Ceylon recently, conducted a seminar on
Developing Entrepreneurship Skills for SMEs at Anuradhapura for more
than 200 people from the Anuradhapura, Dambulla and Kekirawa areas.

This seminar conducted in collaboration with the Rotary Club of
Anuradhapura, coincided with the 15th anniversary of the Bank's
Anuradhapura branch.
This was the fifth such programme organized by the bank for the SME
sector during 2012.
Previous programmes had been held in Thambuttegama, Kegalle, Nuwara
Eliya and Minuwangoda, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Sri
Lanka.
The resource person for this latest programme was Mohan Palliyaguru,
a qualified and experienced speaker on entrepreneurship development.
Presentations were also made by Leel Rodrigo, Senior Regional
Manager, North Central Region and Delakshan Hettiarachchi, Chief
Manager, Development Credit Department of Commercial Bank on aspects
pertaining to entrepreneurship.
Among other representatives of the Bank present at the event were
Mohan Fernando, Manager, Development Credit Department and Asela
Leuwanduwa, Manager of the Anuradhapura branch.
