Police probe woman’s death

Pallama police commenced an investigation into the death of a woman at the Chilaw Hospital after she was admitted with severe burn injuries after her home in Kodakele caught fire on Sunday.

Her husband who was also in critical condition is being treated at the same hospital. Priyanka Geethani, 31, died in the incident.
