Shaluka Perera wins REIV Business Broker of the Year Award

Shaluka Perera, Managing Director, The One Business Brokers, received the REIV Business Broker of the Year Award at the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) Awards of Excellence at the Crown Palladium Ballroom, Victoria, Australia, recently in the presence of 1,100 professionals from the respective field.

The REIV Awards for excellence distinguishes and rewards those members of the institute who provide a good work ethic combined with good service with exceptional outcomes in that turf. Perera established ‘The One Business Brokers’ with joint director, Aman Khan only a year ago.

“I started my career in business broking in 2008, where previously I specialized in Banking Finance and IT. I had my own business in mortgage lending as well,” Perera said. Before receiving the award, he was distinguished for selling some of the most renowned and prominent international franchise brands and hospitality businesses in Melbourne. Perera has shown talent and passion in his field and has been approached by many franchisors and franchisees for professional advice.

The One Business Brokers has achieved immensely despite the economic slump, having acquired 150 business listings and having sold a number of businesses. His company has direct ties and work closely with some of the international and local franchise brands such as Nandos, Muffin Break, Spanish Doughnuts and Schnitz.
