CMA President congradulates new President of IFAC
Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, President of CMA attended the Council
Meeting of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) meeting in
November 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa.
IFAC is the Global Accounting Body comprising 125 countries and a
membership comprised of 164 member bodies with a total membership of
more than 2.5 million accountants in public practice, education,
government service, industry and commerce.

Warren Allen on his election as President of IFAC. Warren Allen is a
Past President of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and
the first New Zealander to head the International of Federation of
