MRI cautions public against handling ‘alien’ objects

The Medical research Institute (MRI), Colombo requested the public
not to handle any alien metal objects or other material which may have
been deposited in the ground or had fallen on the ground, as they could
be harmful to human health.
The MRI requested the public to inform them about any such objects, a
Health Ministry spokesman said. The spokesman urged the public to
refrain from handling any object, metal or any other material found
close to the areas where Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have been
observed.
Touching such foreign objects can be harmful to health.
“Inform the MRI about any foreign object found in order to conduct
relevant medical investigations to find out the origins of such
materials. There is a possibility of such objects or materials being
found at locations where alleged UFOs have been spotted,” he said.
“Prof. Chandra Wicramasinghe has decided to conduct a full scientific
investigation on the material handed over to him by the MRI. The MRI
received these materials, including descriptions and visuals of alleged
UFO sightings from the members of public who observed them, “ he added. |
