Final campaign day dawns for Obama, Romney
After a gruelling 18-month battle, the final US
campaign day arrived yesterday for President Barack Obama and rival
Mitt Romney, two men on a collision course for the world’s top job.
The candidates have attended hundreds of rallies, fundraisers and
town halls, spent literally billions on attack ads, ground games,
and get out the vote efforts, and squared off in three intense
debates.

Early voting leads to lines, lawsuit in Florida
Florida, famous for the Presidential election
debacle 12 years ago which required the hand-counting of thousands
of ballots, is facing new election-related problems ahead of
Tuesday's White House vote. The state's Democratic Party filed a
federal lawsuit Sunday over long delays encountered by some voters
who were unable to cast votes in southern Florida despite spending
hours in line.

Romney criss-crossed America on Sunday, appealing for votes in a
two-day final dash for the US election win that both sides claim is
within their grasp. Romney's run includes a surprise foray into
Pennsylvania, a Democratic-leaning state that Republican strategists
say is breaking his way. Obama advisers, however, dismiss the thrust
