Economic improvement under Divineguma

Sri Lanka is heading towards speedy economic improvement under the Divineguma development Programme, Youth Affairs and Skill Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma said.

He was addressing a public meeting at the St. Thomas’ boys’ school in Matara. ‘Divineguma will ensure the rights and privileges of both Samurdhi officers and beneficiaries. It has also economically empowered the low income families in the country. The Divineguma Bill aims at establishing a new department,’ the minister said.

The Divineguma livelihood enhancement programme has achieved tremendous success, Minster Alahapperuma further added. Minister Douglas Devananda was also present.
