Senkadagala became the fourth team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Yasaratne Tennakoon memorial trophy under 15 limited over cricket tournament conducted by the Central Province cricket Association when they beat Nawalapitiya by two wickets in a low scoring match played at police grounds, Kandy yesterday. Match winner for Senkadagala was S. Tyronee of St. Sylvesters college who made 40 and held his sides batting together. Off spinner S. Amarasinghe bowled well to capture 4 for 22 for the Nawalapitiya team.

Nawalapitiya: 90 all out in 27 overs Lasitha Hadage 13, S. Amerasinghe 11, Gihan Witharana 3 for 12).

Senkadagala: 93 for 8 in 23 overs (S. Tyronee 40, Gihan Witharane 14, S. Amerasinghe 22, Lasitha Udage 3 for 4).
