Duties performed without political discrimination says Wimal

The government is performing duties while fulfilling people’s
aspirations without political discrimination, Construction, Engineering
Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa said.
Housing construction at Meethotamulla being carried out jointly by the
Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities
Ministry and the Colombo Municipal Council for people affected by the
garbage dump at Meethotamulla area is a clear indication of the
government’s people - friendly service, he said.
The minister said so participating in an awareness programme for
people affected by the garbage dump yesterday.
Weerawansa said the government never turned a deaf ear to this issue
as the CMC is the main garbage dumper to this site.
The people affected will receive more benefits and assistance with
Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s assistance. |
