Guiness World Record holder Geoff Price visits Sri Lanka

During the recent visit of the 2011 Guiness World Record Holder Geoff
Price from United Kingdom to Sri Lanka he briefed the journalists about
his record at the Royal Palms Beach Hotel, Waskaduwa, Kalutara recently.

The classic Car fan Geoff Price (62) also has a passion for model
four wheelers among his vast collection of 11,450 Buses on October 5,
2012. He also has the largest model Tram Collection with 950 amassed
since 1959 from across the world.
Geoff, a classic car show organizer in UK, married to fellow fan
Linda (57) said plan to carry on until I have got 15,000-20,000 Buses
are different in each from every country that way they have such appeal.
This couple has visited Sri Lanka on nine occasions and collected the
large numbers of the buses from various cities of the island. The
Assistant Manager of the Royal Palms Beach Hotels (PLC) organized the
press meeting. |
