Finnish woman sexually abused

A suspect who committed a sexual offence on a sixty six year old Finnish woman in Hikkaduwa, was arrested by the Hikkaduwa police and produced before the Additional Magistrate Galle. He was later released on bail of Rupees five thousand in cash and Rupees two lakhs in personal bail.

The Finish national had been living in Gonapinuwala, Hikkaduwa for several years.

She had complained to the police that the suspect arrived at her house at night and forcibly committed the sexual offence on her.
