Birthday of Siradi Baba celebrated

The birthday of Siradi Baba was celebrated last Friday in most of the Saibaba samithis in Jaffna. A reading of Siradi Baba’s miracle was conducted in all the samithis.

The day started with meditations, prayers and bajans. A large portrait of Siradi Baba was taken on procession at Thinvely and Jaffna on a decorated chariot. Dana was served to all the devotees with ghee rice and fried brinjals which are the special delicacies of Siradi Baba.
