Kopai Police, acting on information received yesterday found the body of a man who had been hacked to death at a house in Kokkanei , Uralu East.

The police identified the deceased as 45 year old Siwarasa of Kopai. Police suspect the he had been murdered over an illicit relationship. Kopai police are investigating. Meanwhile, a father and son died after they were hit by the Baticaloa bound Colombo train at first railway crossing in Mamangama , Baticaloa early last morning.
