The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Youth
Affair and Skills Development Ministry's Technical Education and
Training Department (DTET) have undertaken a project to upgrade computer
lab facilities in the College of Technology (CoT), Badulla and a project
for automobile practice machinery reinforcement at the Embilipitiya
Technical College.
The agreement in this regard was signed between KOICA representatives
and Badulla-CoT and Embilipitiya-TC at the KOICA office.
The project at Badulla - CoT was identified by three KOICA ICT and
Korean language volunteers, Kim Sun-young, Kim Moon-hee and Choi
Hyun-wook who were dispatched to CoT in May 2010 to provide the latest
ICT subjects and provide Korean language classes to students.
