Rahula win by 43 runs

Rahula College Matara won their under-17 division one cricket match
against Debarawewa National School by 43 runs last Thursday. Batting
first Rahula were all out for 194 in 49.2 overs.
Dulash Udayanga and Sacheera Prasad captured three wickets each while
Rahula skipper Piushan Kulathunga scored 36.
Rukshan Perera captured four wickets for 28 runs to restrict the
Debarwewa lads to 151 runs in 41.2 overs. S Mihiran continued his good
form scoring 41 runs from 45 balls with five boundaries and two hits
over the ropes.

Wesley over come Dharmapala by five wickets
Wesley college registered a five wicket win with four overs to spare
against Dharmapala Vidyalaya Pannipitiya.
The under 17 division one encounter was played at the Dharmapala
grounds in Pannipitiya.
Tharindu Maduwantha of Dharmapala Vidyalaya scored 71 runs with seven
boundaries and two sixes to see his team post a score of 210 for the
loss of six wickets at the end of their fifty overs. The Wesley
batsman surpassed this score with five wickets in hand and four overs
to spare to end the first round matches with a win.
