UPFA will sweep the board
The SLMC joining with the UPFA to contest in the
Eastern PC will be an added advantage Petroleum Industries Minister
Susil Premajayantha told the Daily News yesterday. He said, in

Ten political parties funded from abroad
Chief Government Whip and Water Supply and
Drainage Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday stated in Parliament
that 10 political parties among the 64 political parties recognized
by the Elections Commissioner, receive funds from foreign countries.
