Umayanga takes 5 for 7

Umayanga Dehigama's stunning bowling performance of five for seven, steered Anandians to an easy victory in their under 15 division two 50 over match against St. Benedicts College played at Ananda College Ground.

St. Benedict's College decided to bat first and were skittled out for a paltry 69 runs in 27.2 overs. Dulantha Lewis (24) was highest contributor for the Benedictines. Umayanga Dehigama was the most impressive wrecker with five for seven while Pubuditha Gimhana captured three for 32.

In reply, Ananda College reached the target in 6.2 overs without losing any wickets. Sahan Lahiru was the star batsman of the side with 43 runs.

St.Benedict's College: 69 (Dulantha Lewis 32, Umayanga Dehigama five for seven, Pubuditha Gimhana three for 32)

Ananda College: 72 (Sahan Lahiru 43)
