Tibhar TT Tourney on August 11-12

Entries for the 8th Tibhar All Island Novices/Intermediate Table Tennis Championships will be closed on July 21 and the draw will take place on July 28. the tournament is scheduled to be worked off on August 11 and 12 at S.Thomas' College Indoor Stadium, Mt. Lavinia.

There will be age category events for boys and girls under 08,10,12,15,18. Apart from the age category events the championship will include four events for Intermediate and Novices men and women.

The tournament is considered to be one of the most popular events among the school TT fraternity and has contributed immensely to mould budding talents over the years.

One player can take part in three age group events and two open events.

In last year's tournament Sachinthana Moonamale of Maliyadewa college, Kurunegala and Sathya Udayangi of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda won the Most Outstanding Player awards in boys and girls categories respectively.
