Businessman held with ganja haul

A businessman transporting 750 grammes of ganja in a three wheeler was nabbed by Anuradhapura Police Investigation Bureau officers near the Nuwarawewa anicut.

Two others travelling with him escaped on seeing the Police.

The suspect produced before the Anuradhapura chief magistrate was remanded until July 25.

Investigations are on to arrest the other two suspects.
