Mudugamuwe Chandawimala Thera passes away

Adhikarana Sanghanayake of the Galle and Matara districts and Viharadhipathi Veluwanaramaya, Mudugamua Most Venerable Mudugamuwe Chandawimala Thera passed away. Cremation will be held at the Adahana Maluwa of Veluwanaramaya temple, Mudugamuwa today at 2.00 p.m.

The demise of Ven Mudugamuwe Chandawimala Thera is an irreparable loss to the Buddha Sasanaya and society, Agriculture Minister and Matara District Parliamentarian Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane said.
