Pakistan Premier thanks PM

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has thanked Prime Minister D M Jayaratne for his felicitation on his assumption of office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Ashraf said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with Sri Lanka. “The momentum at which our relationship is growing across the whole spectrum of political, economic and social cultural fields bears testimony to this,” Prime Minister Ashraf said.

The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes and prayed for health, happiness and continued progress of the brotherly people of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
