Water poisoned

Six persons including a woman have been hospitalized after drinking water in a well in Hasalaka.

The incident occurred on Monday when five men and a woman, residents of Mahayaya, Ulpathagama in Hasalaka drank water from a nearby well.

Hasalaka police have produced a water sample from the particular well to the Government Analyst to ascertain whether the water has been poisoned. Hasalaka police are continuing investigations. (YG)
