The Blue Star team won comfortably by two goals to one over Super Beach Sports Club and won the Challenge Trophy too.

Matugama A S P Abeyratne was the chief guest at the final match and FIFA Executive Committee member and Asian Football Federation Senior Vice President Manilal Fernando, Sri Lanka Football Federation Youth President Manil Fernando, Kalutara Football League President Rahula Sriwardana, Vice President Sepala Perera, Secretary Hasan Maffoor, Kalutara HQI Samantha Wedage and Vernon Fernando Stadium Manager M D Gunaratne participated in the final session.
