Missing woman’s body found after three days

Woman died of suffocation, postmortem reveals :

The body of a woman reported missing for three days was found in Moneragala Kumarawatta Estate.

Ampara JMO who conducted the postmortem recorded a verdict of death due to suffocation.

Moneragala district judge and magistrate Nandani Abeygunawardana conducted the magisterial inquiry on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Mayalage Yogeswaree, 30, a mother of three.

A bachelor living in the estate was arrested.

Moneragala Police are investigating.
