Sri Lanka decide to rest Herath

The Sri Lankan cricket selectors have decided to rest left arm spinner Rangana Herath from the remaining Three One-Day games against Pakistan. Heath has had a knee operation after the England tour and with the coming Three Tests against Pakistan, it has been decided to rest him because he will have a heavy work load in the Three Tests.

The selectors have decided to toss in another left arm spinner in Sanjeewa Weerakoon and after a look at the wicket and the conditions there is a chance of him playing today.
