Crusaders in final

Crusaders Sports club entered the final of the Donovan Andree Trophy tournament when they defeated Peterson SC in the semi-finals played at the FTZ grounds, Katunayake.

Put into bat Crusaders scored 193 runs with Manjula Cooray top scoring with 72. L. Gunasinghe captured 5 for 50.

Peterson in reply were shot out for 136 runs with left arm spinner Suresh Silva capturing 4 for 25 and former Sri Lanka fast bowler, Ishara Amarsinghe too 3 for 20.
