NCC CA concludes India tour on a high note

The Nondescripts Cricket Academy made a highly successful tour of India, winning six of their ten matches under the Indo-Lanka Match Exposure program for the cricketers in the age group of 17 years concluded recently.

This programe was organised by the J.P.Nagar Cricket Academy in Bangalore,India. The matches were played in Bangalore and Mysore.

Sandeep Thiththagala was judged the Man Of The series for his fine all-round performance (292 runs and 10 wickets) while Poorna Liyanage (396 runs) won the Best batsman's prize. Induwara Ranatunga won the best bowler's and the emerging Players prize for 196 runs and 16 wickets in the tourney. Nimesh Jayawardene took the Best Fielder's prize.

NCC Cricket Academy beat Panthers's CA by 4 wickets.

Panthers's CA: 215 (R.K.Deepak 58, H.Abishek 31, K.Sanat 26, Sandeep Thiththagala 3 for 39, Umar Marikkar 2 for 43, Nimesh Jayawardene 2 for 41)

NCC CA: 216 for 5 (Ekamuthu Perera 62, Umar Marikkar 30, Poorna Liyanage 35, Venura Jinadasa 33)

NCC CA lost to J.P.Nagar CA, Bangalore by 5 wickets.
