the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and paid homage to the
Sacred Tooth Relic yesterday. Ven Tibbotuwawe Medhalankara

Police Special Task Force yesterday
seized an illicit liquor haul worth Rs 1.7 million in the
Pamunugama area. The STF also arrested three persons at
Nenduru Pitiya in Pamunugama. Equipment used to brew Kasippu
was also seized by the officers who raided the site on the
instructions of STF ASP Sylvester Wijesinghe. They also
conducted three other raids at Piliyandala and Puttlam on
the same day. |
