Argument leads to murder

An argument by two persons resulted in the death of one of them from a sword attack in Rajangana. The victim has been identified as Dhanushka Ruwankumara, 29, from Sirimapura in Rajangana. The suspect has been taken into custody.

It has been revealed that the victim had been having an illicit affair with the attacker’s wife, leading to the argument. The incident took place at the home of the victim at the fisheries village of Rajangana. He died after being admitted to the Rajangana hospital. It was also revealed that the victim was a relative of the suspect.

Police also took into custody the sword used in the attack.
