Woman's body found in jungle patch

The badly decomposed body of a woman was discovered in a jungle patch in Udappuwa by the Mundalama Police.

The victim was identified as Dharshani Ranamurthi, 27. Police believe the death occurred about 15 days ago.

Investigations revealed the woman was a money lender and had been in a depressed state lately.

Investigations are continuing.
