Roundtable on Cyber Security

The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), the academic wing of the S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) has organized a Roundtable Discussion titled ‘Contemporary Cyber Security Redefined’ today from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the BCIS Auditorium.

The main objective of this Roundtable Discussion is to initiate a dialogue amongst relevant institutions, law enforcement agencies and IT specialists on combating the growing challenges posed by non-traditional security threats.

The target groups for this Roundtable Discussion would be government officials, Defence personnel, Law Enforcement officials and private sector communities interested and engaged in cyber trends. Prof. Tissa Vitharana, Senior Minister for Scientific Affairs will be the Keynote Speaker at this event.
