Man remanded for indecent exposure

A man who exposed his private anatomy to a group of girls travelling in a van was remanded until May 31 by the Mount Lavinia magistrate.

The incident occurred when the van carrying 18 girls to a leading girl's school in Colombo stopped at the Golumadama junction traffic lights.

The suspect, driving a car, stopped parallel to the van and removed his clothes so that his private anatomy were visible to the girls in the van. The van driver noted the number of the car and lodged a complaint at Mount Lavinia Police.The man was arrested on Monday and produced at Mount Lavinia courts.
