Suspect granted bail

Wildlife officers arrested a person with trap guns and equipment used for the illegal poaching in the Wilpattu National Park on May 22. It is believed that the suspect had been poaching in the park with two others using trap guns.

Five trap guns, three fertilizer bags and other items which were in possession of the suspect were alsoseized.

The suspect, a resident of Nochchiyagama area was granted bail after been produced before court.
