Provincial Councillor held by CID

Western Provincial Council UPFA member Thushara Perera was arrested by the CID in connection with the alleged murder of Sangattikulam businessman Stanis Joseph aliar Stanley, 37. He was remanded by Puttalam District Judge Heshantha de Mel.

Earlier, three army personnel were also arrested in connection with the alleged murder and remanded.
