Order reserved in Baratha Lakshman murder case

Colombo High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa, yesterday reserved the order in connection with an application filed by MP Duminda Silva's father Premalal de Silva, whether a lawyer could appear for his son in the Baratha Lakshman Premachandra murder case before the Colombo Additional Magistrate's Court.

The Judge put off the order for May 8, 2012.

State Counsel Riyas Bary appeared for the Attorney General.

President's Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya with Attorneys Shymal Collure, Chandrasiri Wijesinghe and Charitha Jayampathy, instructed by Indrajith Ameratunga, appeared for Premalal de Silva.
