Order reserved in Baratha Lakshman murder case
Colombo High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa,
yesterday reserved the order in connection with an application filed
by MP Duminda Silva's father Premalal de Silva, whether a lawyer
could appear for his son in the Baratha Lakshman Premachandra murder
case before the Colombo Additional Magistrate's Court.

Navy rescues man from drowning in Kalu Ganga
Sri Lanka Navy's Rapid Response Rescue and
Release Squadron (4Rs) rescued a person from drowning in Kalu Ganga
at Kalutara on May 2. The man aged 56, a resident of Waskaduwa, had
fallen into the river from the Kalutara Railway Bridge.
