‘TNA should participate in PSC’

Abeywardena said it is the duty of the Opposition Leader to bring
the TNA Leader to the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) appointed
to solve the ethnic issue. He is a reputed and prominent politician.
Therefore he can do it. The Opposition Leader stated that the UNP
will take part in the PSC if the government invites them.

MILCO to buy total milk produce
Cabinet approval has been granted to purchase
all liquid milk produced by farmers through MILCO Ltd. In addition,
a free glass of milk is to be provided to all schoolchildren in the
Nuwara Eliya district using fresh milk purchased from farmers,
Acting Media Minister and Acting Cabinet Spokesman Lakshman Yapa
Abeywardena said.
