A rogue foreign employment agent who swindled
over Rs 40 million from 56 people, with the promise of lucrative
overseas jobs has been arrested by Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign
Employment (SLBFE) sleuths. The sleuths on the hunt for the suspect
for nearly six months after he went into hiding, apprehended him in
Negombo.

Soldier molests 13 year-old girl
Alawwa Police has launched investigations to
arrest a solider who had allegedly molested a 13-year-old school
girl and disappeared from the area. Investigations revealed that the
suspect is also the paramour of the girl's mother who had abetted
the suspect to commit the crime.
