Body found in canal

Mundalama Police found the body of a youth of around 25 years in a canal in the Navadathkulama area.

It was revealed that the deceased was a resident of Negombo identified as Nandana Priyanath Silva.

Police suspect the youth to have been killed at the spot and the body dumped in the canal or in the alternative that the killing was done at another location and the body brought to Navadathkulama.
