Death of singer Sathis Perera

Popular singer Sathis Perera ,43, passed away at a private hospital yesterday. Sathis is the son of legendary singer and composer Shelton Perera who left an indelible imprint on the Sinhala music arena in the 1970s. His sister Anuradha Perera is also an announcer and singer.

His remains are now lying at residence No. 762739, Jothikarama Road, Kalalgoda, Pannipitiya. The funeral will take place at the General Cemetery, Borella on April 25 at 3.00 p.m. The remains will be kept at the Art Gallery for the public to pay their last respects from 10 a.m. onwards on April 25.
