It was a memorable and glorious day in the history of Crescent Schools International (CSI). All the members of administrative, academic and supportive skills of CSI gathered at its auditorium (Wellampitiya branch) recently to felicitate and award the staff for the yeoman and dedicated service being rendered by them towards the success and development of schools.

CSI is a leading International school having sections and branches at Dematagoda, Mattakkuliya, Wellampitiya and Ratnapura with a student population of over 1,500 and managed by a management team comprising of well qualified and experienced members.

Staff Awards Day of CSI was organized and conducted by an organizing committee headed by the General Manager Mirak Farook with the support and cooperation of all the members, of the staff under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

On this remarkable occasion 44 employees including 34 members of the academic staff received their awards for the dedication, commitment and sense of responsibility displayed by them in their duties. Selecting of awards recipients was made by a panel, in a fair and careful manner. CSI hopes to declare this as an annul event and would like to encourage all their staff members to deliver their best towards the school.

CSI is in the process of making all possible efforts to provide its students with quality education and uplift the academic standard of the school. It is also aiming at developing the social skills of the students by conducting series of extra and co-curricular activities such as inter-house sports-meet, awards day, academic prize giving and educational trips. English, Sinhala and Tamil day competitions, debate competitions and English literary day are conducted every year to provide opportunity for the students to participate in these competitions and exhibit their talents and excel in academic activities by improving their language skills. The members of the Management team, academic and administrative staff are highly involved in the process of uplifting the academic excellence of the students by providing them with opportunities for participating in these activities. The dedication, enthusiasm and commitment displayed by them are always praiseworthy.
