NCC U-17 cricketers leaves for Bangalore

The under-17 cricketers of Nondescript Cricketers Club will leave for Bangalore, India today to play seven limited overs matches and three T20 matches against under-17 cricketers of J P Nagar Cricket Academy of Bangalore.

“The NCC squad will be led by Isindu Hewagamage while Ekamuthu Perera will be the vise captain”, said the team's coach Lionel Menids. Both players are from Nalanda College, Colombo.

The matches will be played in Bangalore and Mysore from April 11 to 22. J P Nagar cricketers are scheduled to tour Sri Lanka to play against NCA following this tournament.

The NCC squad: Isindu Hewagamage (Captain), Ekamuthu Perera (Vice Captain), Devin Eliyanayake, Rahal De Soysa,Vinura Jinadasa, Humaid Cader, Don Ranul, Sandeepa Thiththagalla, Hashan Hewavithana, Poorna Liyanage, Gayashra Jagodaarachchi, Nimesh Jayawardane, Jayan Ratwatte, Umar Marikkar, Induwara Ranathunga.
