Korean drowns in school pool

A Korean expatriate drowned when he accidentally fell into a swimming pool at a private school in Kochchikade on Sunday.

He was rushed to Negombo Hospital where doctors confirmed his death upon admission.

The Police have identified the man as Byoung In, 57.

Investigations revealed that the man was in Sri Lanka on holiday.

He had visited the school in Kochchikade with his friend, who is also a Korean and a director of the school. The post mortem was due yesterday. Kochchikade Police are investigating.
